The All mountain Classic Bike now in Carbon Edition: Very light Dual Trail Control four-pivot system in carbon for Alpine mountain biking, all-mountain terrain and longer-distance touring. With Dual Trail Control 140mm of fully active drive-neutral suspension travel available.

Dual Trail Control: Dual Trail Control is Cube’s own intelligent development of a four-pivot suspension system in which the rear triangle behaves neutrally when pushing the pedals. It autonomously smoothes out impacts from the terrain. Dual Trail Control is a system that works well under all conditions, of course with appropriate tuning of travel and the geometry of the shock unit.

Dual Trail Control – How it works: To adapt a bike to all requirements, absolute freedom in suspension is a must. In our Dual Trail Control system the floating shock unit is actuated upside down so that the rear triangle can work independently from the main-frame. Seen dynamically, the wheel travel and the virtual pivot point both move in such a curve, that the negative pedalling forces which usually pull the suspension down are nearly completely eliminated.

HAL Hollow Axle Link: To join our Dual Trail Control rear train with the shock unit we have developed a CUBE specific HAL – Hollow Axle Link. The FEM-optimised HAL Hollow Axle Link is very light and rigid and optimally adapted to transfer the energy flow from the rear train. Very light bearings give additional lateral stiffness and in technical life they compare favourably with roller bearings.

3D Box: To cope with the bending and torsional forces in the bracket area we have developed a 3D-box for our four-pivot Dual Trail Control layout. It is placed between the rear shock struts. It gives a very wide support for the encapsulated industrial bearings of the bracket, giving a clearly improved lateral stiffness, a better response and a better power transfer between the front chain blade and the rear wheel. At the same time, the 3D-box carries the front derailleur and the eye for the shock.

Press Fit BB: With press-fit bearings, the outer bearing ring is pressed directly into the housing and not screwed-in as usual. With its wider housing the down tube and the rear forks can be joined full width. Because the width of the housing is a parameter in the calculated stiffness, every millimetre of additional width gives a significant improvement of the lateral stiffness, retaining the comfort-bringing resilience of the rear stays.

Fox Customised Setup: Only a shock that really matches the frame will perform perfectly from a dynamic viewpoint. In close co-operation with Fox Racing we have developed a specific shock for the bike.

X12 Through Axle: Normal quick-release axles function by compressing several treaded connections. Also, no fixation points are available, which makes repositioning the rear wheel a bit of a gamble. For the rear axles in our Dual Trail Control 4-link bikes, we use the Syntace axle system. This has a 12mm axle diameter, and is 142mm wide. In this system, a cone is used to form a play-free connection. It is only necessary to tighten the axle from one side. (Re) Positioning the wheel is done by an insert in the right hand dropout, which is secured by a bolt. The main advantages of the Syntace system are: quick and simple changing of the wheel, the brake disc remains in position, a higher stiffness of the rear train and a lighter weight when compared to a normal QR axle.

FSP 4 Link: All our suspension models are ‘true’ four pivot models. One of the four pivots is situated between the rear stays and the seat tube. The pivots are placed in such positions that the rear train will follow the irregularities of the track in a natural way. The position of the pivots prevents a hardening of the suspension during braking. The power transmission to the rear wheel is optimal and without discernible pedal back lash.

High Performance Composite: Ever since the first use of carbon as a strengthening agent, late 1960’s carbon is surrounded by an aura of substantives.

Carbon is associated with terms like extremely stiff, professional material and the black gold. The characteristic black colour is the result of the heating of the polymer named polyacrylnitril. The fine treads visible are bundled parallel and even in this early stadium already are very strong and can carry heavy loads. By treating the bundles with carbon with an artificial resin, mostly epoxy resin, the fibres are connected and fixated. After drying and hardening the fibres get their Matrix coating to protect from harmful influences like chemicals and UV radiation. The spectrum of fibres ranges from extremely stiff to very compliant. The union of the fibres with epoxy resin embeds the features like stiffness and compliance in larger woven sheets of material. These sheets are woven together multi directional. Next the material is constructed to the needed shape and get a heat treatment. The technical advantage of carbon is the combination of rigidity and flexibility. This can only be reached by the exact mixture of fibres applied in the right direction and the correct execution of processes.

To test the quality of our HPC frames we use the finite element technology. Running a computer simulation with a certain mixture of fibres and the forces projected by use we get a good impression of the frames’ capabilities.

Twin Mould Technology: The AMS HPC frame is made in Twin Mould Technology. This technology prevents unforeseen folds in the tissue layers which give less-than-standard strength spots which are often outwardly invisible. Twin Mould enables safe and relatively high wall thicknesses, meaning highest quality of procedure and maximum safety.

Hola,

Efectivamente es un plus de la marca el diseño de los cuadros.

por ahora solo traemos las biciclteas armadas, ya que vienen con muy buen balance de componentes y eso da una buena relacion precio-calidad.

bueno este tipo de bicics es para el que busca un Ferrari de 2 ruedas y puede pagarlas por supuesto, con el precio te aseguras que no llegara ningun lumpen con una CUBE. Exclusivo, asi de simple.

Los cuadros de aluminio tienen 5 años de garantia, los de carbono 2, las horquillas y shock 2, el resto de los componentes 1 año.

bueno este tipo de bicics es para el que busca un Ferrari de 2 ruedas y puede pagarlas por supuesto, con el precio te aseguras que no llegara ningun lumpen con una CUBE. Exclusivo, asi de simple.

Los cuadros de aluminio tienen 5 años de garantia, los de carbono 2, las horquillas y shock 2, el resto de los componentes 1 año.

clarísimo el "target" pero no hay para qué enrostrar el tema del lumpen y eso...está claro que las cube son muy bonitas y refinadas..pero tb hay de 350 lks...haha.gif ....

en todo caso las encuentro muy la raja...nada q decir..
